KNIFE BLOCKS

As the cost of wood continues to rise, bamboo remains a more affordable alternative. However, these concepts explore the potential of introducing plastic into knife block designs—without sacrificing perceived quality or aesthetics. While plastic is often associated with lower-cost products, it offers inherent advantages that can elevate both form and function. These designs are a study in how transitioning to plastic & wood veneer can unlock new opportunities in both product expression and manufacturability.
